I chose Core Legal simply because this online website to compare legal services selected them for the most competitive offer and later discovered that this was the biggest mistake I have ever made. Here is a list of facts; – Zero sense of sensitivity to time: Expect to receive 1 message from your 20 calls and 30 emails. You don`t have a sense of urgency, so be prepared to do the whole hunt (no guarantee that they will do what they are supposed to do) – Terrible management: there were 2 cases when important mail was missing that went unnoticed for 2-3 weeks until I stepped in to inquire about it. Their excuse was, «We`re a small business, so we could misplace emails» – that makes no sense. – Delays, delays, delays: weeks and months passed, despite what initially seemed like a simple case (so the offer I paid for the service was only £350). I still have to wait until they have completed the document review that should have been done months ago. In short, do not use them if you want to save yourself from headaches and absolutely unnecessary additional costs due to delays caused by their extremely poor service. I couldn`t agree anymore. They are currently taking care of my referral and I have never met a company with such a pi$$ attitude towards customer service.

My purchase couldn`t be easier and about 4 months later still no progress until completion. I`ve been running my own business for over 21 years and if I had run it the same way Core Legal ran theirs, I wouldn`t have taken 21 months, let alone 21 years! They never answer calls, emails, or provide active dialogue about transfers, and my case manager can`t answer even the most basic legal questions about a simple land registry formality. I urge everyone not to use this company for your transfer at all costs. You will regret it if you use them. Case date: June 2019 Terrible.. Terrible terrible service Core Legal doesn`t even deserve the 1 star I have to add. Same experience as others for promotion. Terrible communication. Ignore phone calls and emails from buyers, sellers, real estate agents and other lawyers for more than 4 weeks each. It took 6 weeks for the searches and stayed 6 weeks between the return of the search and the beginning of the investigations. Transportation for sale without chain with an empty property took 4 months and counts. Property must be fought because of this incompetence.

Filed a complaint as part of their complaint procedure and this was not even acknowledged. Obviously, there are fundamental problems in this top-down business, apart from a kind and helpful person I spoke to who takes care of online communication. I understand that this company offers a slightly lower price than the average price, but it is not synonymous with good value for money. If you pay half the price and only want to get a U-turn, you probably won`t be disappointed, I guess. But if you want a full promotion, there`s a good chance you`ll lose your investigation fees and need to find a real lawyer anyway. I used Core Legal in Wakefield for my sale and purchase and found that they had excellent communication and honesty. Matthew Dickenson was my lawyer and he had the help of Ella and Rachael. I found them all friendly and helpful and would use them again. The basic legal battlefield is fantastic, no problems or worries about the service. 5*. Suresh Nadkarni and Ben are both fantastic. The emails responded within the hour.

99% of my calls were recorded the first time, but were called back very quickly when I had to leave a message. Very fast and accurate work. I would recommend 100% if you are selling and buying a new property. I have always felt important and have always been approached with respect. I would give these guys ZERO stars if I could. Victoria from Core Legal took care of our purchase. We bought our property 1 year and 2 months ago and still haven`t received the completion package. We had to hunt every week just to get our land registration certificate. This was only made available to us AFTER one year of moving in. Please don`t use these guys. AVOID at all costs. I only got involved with them because it was part of a deal with Purple Bricks (and they were almost as bad). After working at a large law firm in Sheffield for 10 years, I just couldn`t believe how they treated clients. If I could have stopped paying their fees, I would have done so, I had 5 different contacts when selling my home and waited 10 months before it was ready. They went one by one and my transportation was simply ignored for many, many weeks. No one (not even the number of the main switchboard) answered the phone until the day of completion. When I complained, I got a very sarcastic response after moving. I couldn`t complain before because I couldn`t talk to anyone at all. All the documents were sent by e-mail and I had to print many, many documents. I spent £40 on ink cartridges, stacks of paper and return documents by registered mail.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY – make your own transfer if you can!!!! Or let your dog/cat do it. The service was ABYSMAL. Not very accommodating with information or updates. They demand absolute wealth.
