Legal Foundations is a non-degree summer enrichment program that explores U.S. law and U.S. legal education for individuals who study or have studied law outside the United States. Emory Law is pleased to offer this program to our accredited students to help you prepare for your Emory Law experience. Enrollment is limited to students who have submitted the intention to enroll and contribute to one of Emory Law`s programs and plan to enroll in the fall semester. Priority registration will be granted to those who register for the program before June 2021. Beyond this date, students can only register if there is room left in the program. Legal Foundations provides a practical introduction to five topics that are an integral part of legal practice and must be clearly understood by all practitioners: tax law, professional conduct, EU law, human rights, and inheritance and administration.
