Connor MacLeod (Lambert) was born in the Scottish Highlands in the 16th century. After recovering from a mortal wound and banished from her village, MacLeod is found by swordsman Ramírez (Connery), who explains that she and others were born immortal, invincible if not beheaded. Both versions continue to use the 7-inch driver information screen. For the basic L and LE types, the 7-inch screen replaces the old 4.2-inch screen for better usability.
